Arron has worked with young people and adults in the experiential and adventure-based learning space since 1996. With disciplines in a broad range of Outdoor Education as well as groupwork, facilitation and business management, Arron is committed to developing young people and the people who work with them to thrive and be their best.
Arron believes in developing our Emotional Intelligence using a strength-based approach and is committed to using the Kokoda Spirit to model and support young people in this endeavour.
Arron is committed to quality service and design and focused on effective facilitation, risk and safety management as well as continuous improvement through evaluation.
Leadership has been a corner stone of his work with groups and teams, and he has led teams that have been nominated for awards of excellence and recognised by the Outdoors Queensland Community and Children’s Health Queensland.
Combining the beautiful natural world with all its wonder with a good challenging trip is where Arron feels most at home. What could be more important than sharing this with young people!
Arron enjoys multiday expeditions, anything to do with the snow, good food with loved ones and adventuring with close family and friends.
Arron is looking forward to contributing to the excellent work the Kokoda Youth Foundation delivers for community and continuing to support the youth team with our programs and services.
