Nat brings over 15 years of frontline experience across Victoria Police and Queensland Police Service. Her policing career, including specialist work within forensics, provided a deep understanding of trauma, resilience, decision-making under pressure, and the importance of structure and accountability in challenging environments.
Nat has a strong personal connection to the Kokoda ethos through her own endurance journey. She has completed the Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge 96km event twice and the 48km event once, experiences that reinforced the values of teamwork, perseverance, and shared challenge that underpin Kokoda programs. Alongside this, Nat has completed three marathons and three half marathons, using endurance sport as a foundation for mental resilience, discipline, and personal growth.
Her leadership style is calm, authentic, and grounded in lived experience. Nat leads by example, supporting others through physical and mental challenge while fostering confidence, self-belief, and responsibility. She is passionate about using challenge-based experiences to help individuals, including young people, build resilience, purpose, and direction.
Nat’s values strongly align with the Kokoda Youth Foundation ethos, making her a committed and values-driven leader within the organisation.
