Thornton, Lockyer Valley, 90 minutes from Brisbane
160 acres of bush, cabins for 154, a chef in the kitchen and an adventure course in the trees: high ropes, giant swing, flying fox, climbing tower. Run by the Kokoda Youth Foundation. One group at a time.
Who comes to Kokoda Park
Schools, companies, clubs and communities book the whole park. Beds, meals, instructors and the adventure course are on site, so the only thing you bring is your people.
Cabins, meals from our own kitchen, qualified instructors and the full adventure course, with the park to yourselves. Every activity runs on Challenge by Choice, so each student pushes at their own pace. We build the program with you around your year level and outcomes, and the quote shows exactly what you are paying for.
The shape of a typical day. Your program is built with you and confirmed before you arrive.
Tell us the year level, numbers and term. We come back within one working day with a quote and open weeks.
Team days run 9 to 4. Retreats run two days and a night with the meeting work in the hall and the memorable part outside. Chef-cooked food, all equipment, and the whole park to yourselves.
One of our standard team days. Add a leadership workshop, swap activities, or stay the night.
Tell us your numbers, a date window and what the day needs to achieve. Quote within one working day.
Sporting clubs, church groups, scouts, youth organisations and community groups take the whole park for a weekend. Run your own sessions and add as many facilitated activity blocks as you want.
One of our standard club camps. Church and community weekends follow the same shape with your own program in the blocks.
Tell us the group, numbers, preferred weekend and whether you want facilitated activities. Quote within one working day.
The park
Not a resort. A working outdoor education campus in the foothills of Mount Beau Brummell: cabins, a dining hall with its own kitchen, an indoor hall with AV, a pool, and an adventure course in the trees.

What groups say
Fantastic camp, awesome instructors, great program. Our students had a huge amount of fun, built new relationships, challenged their own limits and surprised themselves, stepped out of their comfort zones and grew.

The facilities were ideal for the event. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities were spotless. Both Justin and Jason could not do enough for the attendees. Highly recommended to hold your meeting or event here.

The Kokoda team managed to feed us three great meals every day and provided good facilities, both tech and actual, for presentations. We will be back.

Courage.Endurance.Mateship.Sacrifice.
Kokoda Park is owned and run by the Kokoda Youth Foundation, the charity behind the Kokoda Challenge. Since 2004 we have been taking young Queenslanders further than they thought they could go. Our own Digital Detox Program runs on these cabins and this ropes course.
Your booking supports free programs for young people. A commercial camp cannot offer you that.
